Wizard 101


Wizard101 is a free game you can play. Wizard101 is created by the company KingsIsle. In Wizard101 you have quests to accomplish. In some quests you have to fight monsters. By fighting monsters you sometimes get things like pet snacks, robes to wear, hats to wear etc. In Wizard101 you have 2 types of spell cards, they are-
Treasure cards and Trained cards.
Once you use a treasure card you loose it. The advantage of using a treasure card is that it gives more damage on the monster you are trying to kill. Trained cards give less damage but you have them forever.

You also have spell decks in which you have to keep your spells in. There are different spell decks. By default your wizard will have the starter's deck. After you pass levels you can buy different decks. I am right now in level 10 and I have 3 Decks, they are-
Starter's Deck
Pinewood Deck
Novice's Life Deck

The Starter's Deck can store only 12 cards.
The Pinewood Deck can store 16 cards.
The Novice's Life Deck can store 20 cards.

You cannot enter a few places in Wizard101 as they need crowns.
Crowns are something like membership. You have to pay money to buy/enter a few places/things.
There are different schools from which you can earn spells. You can be only in one school.  Some school names are- The Fire School, The Ice School, The Balance School, The Life School etc. I am in the Life School. You can buy spells or earn it from defeating monsters.

Why I am not writing my remaining ISC 2020 Exam, and you probably shouldn't too

Updates as of last editing this blog: The Supreme Court has asked CBSE to consider scrapping exams. CISCE has issued a press release making exams optional. The petitioner in the Bombay HC, represented by Adv. Arvind Tiwari raised concerns about the transparency of the formula based marking process. They have stressed on the need to be fair and transparent. The methodology to assess one's marks will be finalised, hopefully by Saturday (21st June, 2020), and shared with schools on Saturday. The same will be heard in court on Monday (23rd June, 2020). A communication regarding the extension of dates will be sent to all Principals today. ------------------ It's been almost 3 months. 3 long months since the Council for Indian Secondary Education (CISCE) abruptly postponed all remaining ICSE and ISC exams indefinitely. Barely 3 hours before the commencement of my  last  ever school exam, CISCE saw it fit to postpone our exams indefinitely and provided no clarity ...

The Great Omani Coastal Route

Route 15 : Muscat-Nizwa The parents, seemingly forever, had been planning a trip to Oman. Why Oman? Well, that’s a question I asked myself too. My dad, in the 90s, spent close to a decade in the UAE but barring a work trip, had never visited Oman. Fast forward to the 21 st   century, countless Oman Air flights from India to Europe later, he found himself stranded in Muscat. A ‘technical difficulty’ they said. He visited the Sultan Qaboos Mosque but didn’t get to see much more – it was only a 24-hour layover. However, the constant propaganda he was subjected to via the in-flight entertainment, and the cabin crew he made conversation with, convinced him that the country has a lot to offer. A friend from the UAE, who spoke highly of Oman, apparently also played a role.     The parents had their mind set on Oman. Paneer

In the past few months I have started to enjoy cooking. With one of my favourite ingredients, Paneer I created my own dish. Here is the recipe: Ingredients: Paneer  Coriander Leaves Salt Pepper Oil (Preferably Olive Oil) How To Make It: Cut the paneer into small pieces to get small cubes. On a frying pan shallow fry the paneer to get a light brown colour. Put it into a bowl and add salt and pepper to taste. You can add the coriander leaves as dressing or for a light flovour of herbs. Serve it HOT. Variations: You can also add some lemon juice for tanginess. Coming soon- a tasty recipe that uses brinjal!

I have typed a story. Here you can read my story: The Boy Who Lied And Other Stories. Once upon a time there lived a boy named Arjun. Arjun was not very intelligent. His mother sent him for tuitions. He used to go for Maths, English, Science, Hindi and Kannada tuitions. He did not like studies but loved sports.
